BILLINGHAM 25 vintage camera bag/rucksack for sale

A really nice Billingham 25 camera backpack, The 25 was made to celebrate the company's 25th anniversary in 1998. They are still making it more than 25 years later!  This one has the original 1998 date on the leather badge, which they only did for that year I think?

Billingham make lovely bags which last pretty much indefinitely, though they do charge a premium price. - This model is over £500 now!  (I suppose it keeps the riffraff out of the stores;-)

Lovely clean condition.  Zips all work smoothly.  The lifting handle has been reinforced  with an extra piece of webbing where it started to fray (see picture). The stitching is a bit inexpert but it works well and has become part of the bag's character. The leather and brass fittings are nice with just a little patination.

The interior dividers have velcro ends and can be reconfigured to fit whatever gear you need to carry. The green nylon rain shield strip covers the main zip and can be tightened down with the elasticated cord/toggles running through it.

I'm not sure of the volume in litres but the main compartment is about 310mm x 270mm x 170mm which makes a little over 14 litres. There's a second zip-up compartment pocket in the flap of the main one which is meant for maps etc. and probably adds another litre or so. 
The leather panels on the sides are for attaching extra pockets etc. if you need to .- or tripod clips or whatever. (see Billingham's own website for all the lovely accessories).

Overall the bag is about 420mm high, 320mm wide and 200mm deep.
